We see Heathcliff, fuzzy-logic person in human nature, for he come and goes between ‘absolute goodness’ and ‘absolute evil’ freely.
How novel and pitiful to Mr. Earnshaw he was, for he was an orphan in London which is the capital of the Kingdom of Great Britain, the strongest and the best empire in the world.
Mr. Earnshaw brought him to his grange, Wuthering Heights.
Heathcliff had a wildness in his eyes and was always quiet and quite unfriendly. But he seemed to have a special charm which allows him to be pleasant to be around like ‘Yu Bi’, a hero in the ‘later Han’, an ancient Chinese empire.
So, as time went by, all of the people in Wuthering Heights liked Heathcliff, except Hindley, Mr. Earnshaw’s son.
He thought that his father and rest of his family more liked Heathcliff than him.
He always felt alone and he hated Heathcliff.

After Mr. Earnshaw’s death, Hindley succeeded to the authority of Whthering Heights. He revealed his nature. He treated Heathcliff as he was his servant, and often beat him.
Fortunately for Heathcliff, Ellen the maid and Cathy, Hindley’s sister, worried about Heathcliff heartily. Moreover, Cathy loved Heathcliff deeply!
But Cathy married Edgar. Cathy had gone! Cathy had gone!
Heathcliff’s heart was broken, and he bore a grudge.
He decided to revenge himself on Hindley, for he hated him and always beat him, and on Cathy, for he loved her and he thought she didn’t love him.
But in fact, because Cathy did love him and wanted to help him, Cathy thought that she should marry Edgar. Because if She marry Heathcliff, they would be poor and very unhappy, for He had no education. So she thought she should marry Edgar to help him become a better person and to have him get out of that terrible life.
But Heathcliff already did misunderstand deeply.

After long time went by, Heathcliff’s elaborate revenge ended successfully.
But can it be ended ‘successfully’?
Hindley died, and he succeeded to ― strictly speaking, ‘took away’ ― the authority of Wuthering Heights, and treated Hareton, Hindley’s son, as he was his servant.
Isabella, his wife and Edgar’s sister, died, and he brought their son, Linton, from her to Wuthering Heights.
Edgar died, and he had Linton marry Catherine, Edgar and Cathy’s daughter. But soon Linton died, for his father’s ill-treatment. Heathcliff succeeded to ― strictly speaking, ‘took away’ ― the authority of Thrushcross Grange, the Linton family’s Grange, and treated Catherine as she were his maid.
He was pleased for a while, for he took the authority of Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross, and he revenged himself successfully.
But soon he fell into a deep hollow of unlimited sorrow.
Why? Why he felt sadness?
Cathy was dead!
Right after bearing Catherine, she passed away!
She was dead. She was dead. It made him crazy.
Catherine looked so much like Cathy.
Catherine reminded him of Cathy.
Finally, he was convinced of his error.
He noticed all of what he was lost.
Nothing in the world could compensate people who knew Heathcliff and passed away for loss caused by Heathcliff’s outrage. And for Heathcliff himself, nothing in the world could compensate Cathy’s death.

He died on his bed with strange but looked-happily smile.
And soon Catherine married Hareton.
Heathcliff found his true happiness after being ghost, for it made him live with Cathy, though she was ghost, too.
How fuzzy-logic person in human nature he is!
First, he was revenge personified. But later, he was sorry for what he had done.
He is very attractive person.
Why don’t we try to be a Heathcliff?
Of course, only the person who want to be in such truly romantic love can be permitted!
